ARTHROSTIM™

Prior to opening my practice in 1998, I purchased not one, but THREE Arthrostim™ instruments from Ed Miller at IMPAC, Inc., in Salem, Oregon.

They were a blind purchase. I had heard good things about the instruments, but never had the pleasure of using one. I had one in each of my two structural adjusting areas, and the third in the upper cervical area. When we moved to our new practice location, we shared the three Arthrostim™ units among the larger number of adjusting stations. It's worked out incredibly well!

I also had an handheld manual instrument and another electronic instrument (purchased from a corrective chiropractic technique). Later on, I received yet another instrument (that is now endorsed by another chiropractic technique), but it NEVER worked correctly and eventually fell apart. No glue or tape could hold it together.

Not even my kids wanted to use them as toys (who wants to play with a broken toy, right). From what I understand, this was also the experience of many other practitioners.

The Arthrostim™ instruments have been in use EVERY SINGLE DAY that I have been in practice. They have NEVER failed me. They have been consistent and haven't even had a screw loose (more than I can say for the other instruments).

As for the handheld manual instrument, well, that one needs to be overhauled every year. We overhauled it once, and it now rests in a basket with the other two "toys."

The Arthrostim™ instrument can be used with a large variety of techniques - especially in an AHS (Anterior Head Syndrome) set-up. In our practice, my wife and I use them for both prone and standing structural work, maternity patients, and pediatrics (we have an enormous maternity and pediatric clientele).

The Arthrostim™ comes with a nice assortment of sleeves. Optional sleeves are also available for an additional fee. IMPAC Inc. also sells other products including the Vibracussor and customized office brochures.

Ed Miller, the President of IMPAC INC. is perhaps one of the finest vendors serving the chiropractic profession. He took the time back in 1998, and most recently, in 2006 to talk about the benefits of using the Arthrostim™ (and its many applications).

Now you can go out and purchase an expensive electric instrument from another company, but in my opinion, you'll be VERY disappointed. I understand the allure of the design, the pretty case, and the accompanying certificate of achievement, but at the end of the day, it's about CONSISTENCY and RESULTS.

When you're purchasing an instrument, anyone can wow you with a slick ad. But at the end of the day, what matters most is QUALITY and PERFORMANCE.

I have a box of toys (discarded and/or unused instruments) that have failed me for one reason or another. My Arthrostim's™ have worked WITHOUT FAIL - from day one. The Arthrostim™ comes with a 4 year warranty which in itself is amazing.

The sleeves (the attachments) have stood up to the
test of time and thousands of adjustments.

There are vendors of instruments that can help you blow a lot of money, OR, you can just get your hands on an Arthrostim™, and enjoy the benefits of a consistent product that is built to last.
